Submit your work.
We're now accepting submissions for the second volume of Flicks Magazine, set to be published in April 2024. Essays, articles, and screenplays of between two to twenty pages will be considered for the magazine. The only requirement content-wise is that it be related to filmmaking and cinema. Submissions could include, but are not limited to: Interviews with filmmakers, professors, etc., Duke film news, movie reviews, academic film essays & analysis, film production techniques & explanations, film history essays, biographies of filmmakers, and articles on classical film or international film.
